The material “Historiography on Historical Memory” is a didactic presentation for the Qualitative Methods course in the Bachelor’s Degree in History. It presents the main theories on collective and cultural memory, from Halbwachs to Assmann, to analyze the tension between history and memory. Its objective is to strengthen the understanding of memory as an analytical category and promote reflection on the transmission of remembrance and forgetting. It is used in blended courses on methodology or contemporary historiography. Created in PowerPoint, it combines text, images, and diagrams to facilitate learning. Its innovative contribution lies in integrating theory and practice through an activity that involves creating a family archive, linking personal memory with historical memory.
