This audiovisual aid consists of three videos that introduce students to several key topics in specialized translation: its scope, the relevance of documentation, the variety of documentary sources available, and the competences required of specialized translators. The material was created in Canva and originally distributed through Blackboard for a virtual translation course. Within such virtual teaching modality, the resource supports flexible learning by allowing students to revisit the content as often as needed, at their own pace and according to their learning preferences, thereby strengthening the concepts they will later apply in subsequent activities.
